Free Spirit Gathering 2026 - 40th year

In this workshop I will be showing everyone what plant charming is and how it as a practice can do so much for someone. Plant charming is a the practice of building a spiritual connection with the spirit and essence of each plant by using tools like trance and dance. After learning to build a connection with the plant spirit they felt called to, they will learn certain moves which are good for certain requests, and learning how to manifest their wants and needs while dancing in trance. The practices used in plant charming are old, I'm just showing them to you in a new light as I was taught by my spirit guides and goddesses. 

Come along with Poppet-Maker and Lilithian Philosophy Instructor Tava Baird for a unique class incorporating ritual, Poppet-making, and introductory Lilithian Dae Philosophy to celebrate your manifestation in this life! No matter how you are built, you are welcome in this class to celebrate the body as a vessel for your soul! We’ll start off the class with a brief discussion of self-love through Lilithian Magick and then invoke the Mother of Rebellion as we cast aside all of the rules that the world imposes on us regarding our abilities and appearance. You’ll be guided through all the steps to make your own Lost City cloth poppet (no sewing required!) and finish with the Lilithian Four Mirrors Ritual to consecrate your poppet and infuse it with self-adoration before taking it out in the world to be your companion. 

Move from embodiment into intentional relationship with the living cosmos. This interactive sequel builds on somatic and archetypal methods to help participants translate embodied planetary experience into practical insight for everyday life, vocation, and spiritual practice.
Through movement, reflection, and guided inquiry, participants will explore which planetary powers feel most central to their nature, which support their current season of life, and where imbalance or inner friction may exist. Together, we will create a personal map of your cosmic archetypes and establish a conscious hierarchy of planetary relationships.
This workshop begins with a somatic warm-up to introduce or refresh the method, making it accessible whether or not you attended the previous class, Embodying Cosmic Archetypes.
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement and bring a printed copy of your natal chart or a screen capture of your chart on your smartphone, a notebook, and a pen for reflection. No prior astrology knowledge is required.
