This block of instruction will be both informational and interactive. Each day we will go step by step into what shamanism is, shamanic journeying, and acquiring a spirit animal. I will be using rattles, hand drums, and incense. Each session will be based in my experience as well as backed up by my studies and literature. Every participant will be encouraged to enter the circle with vulnerability and be open and honest. No matter what level of learning or understanding all participants will be asked to leave what they know at the door and be open to learn with an open mind and heart, approaching the class with a childlike heart.. Day 4: Divination: what it is, how shamans use divination, and partnering up to perform divination with partners. One participant will be given the opportunity to work through grief and loss in the spirit boat where all participants will form a boat, invite their power animals in to help someone work through the passing of a friend or a loved one. Please bring a towel or mat to sit on.

In this culminating workshop, participants will move from embodiment and archetypal curation into placement and lived practice by exploring where the planetary powers dwell within the natal chart. Through guided reflection and experiential exercises, we will examine how signs shape the expression of each planetary force and how houses reveal the places in life where these energies seek embodiment.
Participants will create a mapping of their natal landscape to discover where their planetary gods seek expression, and how they support the unfolding path ahead. You need not have attended either of the earlier classes to take part and enjoy this one.
Leave with a deeper understanding of your chart as a personal cosmology and a practical framework for working intentionally with your planetary archetypes in daily life, vocation, and spiritual practice.

But we, as interconnected beings that require a village, also need to recognize when we need to engage in community care as well. This workshop will discuss why we need community from a behavioral science perspective as well as why we, as pagans, need to be especially aware of our larger communities, those communities’ needs and how we can find balance between showing up, and getting a case of helium hand. We all need a village, not just tiny humans and the caretakers of tiny humans. Discussion will be posed to unpack reservations about getting involved, and also to unpack the needs of those who get over-involved because “who will do X if we don’t”. We will briefly discuss Rorschach prints, pareidolia, and symbolism in art history and pop culture but the majority of our workshop time will be spent on divination! All participants should come to this workshop with a question that they would like to be answered by their first reaction to a symmetric inkblot print that they create themselves with ink, water, brush, and paper. You will come away from this workshop with a method of divination to use that is cheap and easy to do. It can be used to inspire art projects, and it is a method of divination that is discreet as well as artistic. Sharing ideas and interpretations are highly encouraged so that everyone can learn together. No experience with divination or art is necessary and all levels of experience are welcome.

Manannán mac Lir is a sea god most honored in Ireland and the Isle of Man; 'Mac Lir' means "son of the sea". As well as being a sea god, He is a psychopomp and a gatekeeper to the Otherworld. Manannán has strong ties to the Isle of Man, and at Midsummer, the Manx people offer bundles of reeds, meadow grasses and yellow flowers to Him in a ritual "paying of the rent," accompanied with prayers for His aid and protection in fishing. In the Storm we gather our friends and Spirits close. In the Storm we sing along with the wind and the rain. This workshop is a song learn and a song share for times of turbulence. Whether you murmur softly as the clouds dance or yodel the currents over the valleys, we'll ride it out with our voices and find some Spirits along the way. Some handouts available

Main Ritual Field

All are invited to the main ritual field to help complete our temple work and offer our intentions to the shrine. Our ritual work this week has been creating an intention shrine to stay in the labyrinth field for years to come. Over the week we have crafted a temple and many have offered their intentions. For our main ritual we offer a formal space for those offerings. Physical offerings will be available in the form of flowers and plaques and participants will be invited to offer and share their personal intentions. Participants are encouraged to bring personal offerings as well, all are accepted.
When the ritual is complete we will take the temple down to the fire circle, and will burn it as the opening to our Saturday Night Fire. The Temple Burn will take place after the concert.
