Enchanted Trails: Faerie Walk & Offerings
Wednesday August 5, 2026 13:00 - 14:30 EDT
Step into the hidden magic of nature and discover the unseen world right here at camp! This hands-on, immersive workshop invites you to connect with nature spirits and the Fair Folk who dwell in the quiet corners of the wilderness.
We’ll begin our journey by crafting our very own, nature-safe "faerie food." Using natural, wholesome ingredients, you'll learn what the Fae love most and how to prepare offerings with respect and intention.
Once our feast is ready, we’ll venture out onto the camp’s hidden trails. Together, we will:
  • Learn the Art of Seeing: Train your eyes to spot the subtle signs of Fae presence—from mushroom rings to hidden mossy glens.
  • Practice Eco-Friendly Offerings: Discover how to leave gifts for nature spirits safely, ensuring we respect the local wildlife and environment.
  • Walk the Invisible Path: Tune into the unique, magical energy of the forest and practice quiet observation.
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a sense of wonder, and your respect for the wild. All ingredients for the faerie food will be provided. Come ready to explore, create, and step into the magic of the woods!

Journey to the Three Harpers and the Three Noble Strains of Music
Thursday August 6, 2026 15:00 - 16:30 EDT
Several Irish stories tell of The Dagda having a special harp, Uaithne, that could control the seasons, bring guidance and strength to his people, and defeat his enemies. Uaithne (the harp or harper) and Boand, the Boyne River goddess, were the parents of triplet sons who became harpers, each specializing in one of the three noble strains of music - sorrow, joy, and sleep/peace. In this workshop, we will learn about about the Three Harpers and their music. We'll listen to and dance to the different strains of music to connect more deeply with the three noble strains. Then we will journey to the Three Harpers to see what guidance, healing, and wisdom they have to share with us. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal/pen, something to cover your eyes (scarf, bandana, eye mask), something to sit on/lie on, and water to drink.
